Increasing our firepower with textures

With the addition of those extra texture artists, Christian & Joshua – the level of quality the team is able to produce has again increased.
Joshua taking care of preparing the models for texturing, secondary textures & prepping – while Christian is tasked with environment set design and primary texturing.. well what can we say other than that the results speak for themselves.
With the added firepower, it enables us to completely customize the looks of any model, scene or project.

Animated trees

For a while animated trees has been out of the reach with Blender for me – but recently this new addon called VEGETATION popped up which featured animated trees alongside different settings and presets for the wind strength etc.
Will be using this one for all future projects now that include trees, they even have a randomize feature which randomizes a single tree into endless possibilities with that same tree model!

Character animation just got easier

So for a while I have been eyeing a mocap suit for the studio, since hand animating is quite difficult for a character and takes considerable amount of time.
With a motion capture suit we plan to release a lot more character video content and such – thanks to the current plan of getting the Rokoko suit. In the near future we do have our heading for the Xsens suits, but that would be a blog post for another time in the future.
