We had the chance to create a high-octane Formula 1 piece for the EWC and Aramco partnership announcement, teaming up with our friends at NMBRS to handle the CG side of production. The process was seamless; they came to us with a creative brief and a rough shot list, and from there we were let loose to bring it to life. What followed quickly became one of our best automotive projects to date, standing shoulder to shoulder with Most Wanted 2024.

The POV shot was heavily inspired by the Charles Leclerc camera footage taken by Ferrari during the 2022 Bahrain Grand Prix. When I first saw it, I was blown away by the intensity, the raw drama, and the sheer energy it carried. We knew instantly that we had to bring a similar perspective into this piece, capturing that same visceral rush from the driver’s seat.

With a childhood spent on racing games, moving into simulators, and eventually racing in real life, we've built up a long track record of understanding what does and doesn’t work when trying to convey speed on screen. It’s something we’ve studied and experienced intensely, and it takes a certain finesse to get right. There isn’t a one-size-fits-all template; you have to shape each shot individually to make the audience truly feel the rush.

Looking back, this project felt like the perfect merge of passion and precision. The collaboration was seamless, the brief gave us freedom to push creatively, and the subject matter spoke directly to our love for racing.

For us, it now stands firmly among the best automotive work we’ve ever done.
