This project was built on momentum. With a tight delivery window, the NFL and Jameson teams asked for something smooth, elegant, and visually striking.

The challenge was balancing pace with polish; making every shot feel intentional, not hurried.

At first, the piece was built around a stronger live-action presence, with significant time spent testing how to move seamlessly between those elements. When that direction was abandoned midway through production, we had to quickly pivot.

The new challenge: balance the power and motion of American football with the smooth, understated elegance of Jameson.

Caustics are always a nightmare. Physically accurate solutions take time we simply didn’t have. The Blender addon Shaders Plus offered a pragmatic alternative; not scientifically correct, but fast, flexible, and visually stunning.
In the context of this project, that trade-off was more than worth it

The liquid simulations carried much of the visual weight of the piece, and they were among the most demanding elements to produce. With very little time to iterate, we had to rethink how we worked. A custom-built tool helped us streamline the process, enabling faster turnarounds while preserving artistic control.

Projects like NFL × Jameson are a reminder that speed doesn’t have to come at the cost of elegance. With the right balance of creative intent, technical problem-solving, and trust from the client, even the tightest timelines can produce something refined and visually striking. It was a demanding project, and one we’re proud to have delivered
